New partner at Stephenson Harwood

Stephenson Harwood LLP has expanded its corporate practice with the arrival of Sandeep Dhama as a partner in its Dubai office.

Dhama brings a wealth of experience advising clients from the GCC, and international clients investing there. He specialises in M&A, joint ventures and private equity and has expertise in capital markets and restructuring. He joins the firm from King & Wood Mallesons, where he was a partner and head of the corporate practice in the Middle East.

“Strengthening our corporate practice, to meet the growing needs of our clients, is a strategic priority for our Middle East practice,” said Stephenson Harwood’s Dubai office managing partner, Rovine Chandrasekera. “Sandeep’s regional knowledge and experience not only complements our existing practice, his arrival also adds breadth and depth to the group as we continue to expand our expertise.”

Having advised clients in the Middle East for many years, Stephenson Harwood launched its Dubai office in 2012. The Dubai team acts for a wide range of listed and private companies, institutions and individuals, and provides advice in the areas of marine and international trade, corporate and commercial, asset finance, projects, infrastructure, construction, commercial disputes, sanctions and employment.
