Nayiri Boghossian’s new role

Nayiri Boghossian has recently joined the firm of Al Owais Advocates and Legal Consultants, a boutique dispute resolution firm based in Dubai. Previously a partner and the head of the regional dispute resolution practice at Eversheds, Boghossian is a Syrian/Armenian national, dual qualified in both civil and common law jurisdictions. Boghossian is a multi-lingual disputes practitioner and arbitrator based in Dubai since 2002.

Boghossian has an expansive knowledge of the civil and commercial laws of the United Arab Emirates. Having worked on numerous cross-jurisdictional disputes, in arbitration and litigation proceedings governed by the laws of other Arab countries, she also has a very good understanding of the laws in the region.

She is a member of the New York State Bar and is qualified in both Syria and France. Boghossian speaks five languages and holds a bachelor of laws from Damascus University, an LLM from McGill Law, and an LLM from Georgetown University Law Centre.
