KWM Dubai celebrates office expansion

King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) is expanding its Dubai office with the addition of Shawn Davis, partner, Project Finance and Daniel Xu, counsel, Dispute Resolution.

Davis brings with him substantial capabilities in project finance, which enhance KWM’s Middle East offerings. He has over 13 years of experience in advising on large-scale project finance and development transactions. Davis has vast experience in the region advising on complex project finance and development matters and he works with major developers and financial institutions in the Middle East, Asia and North America. He has been based in the UAE for 11 years

Xu, a Singapore qualified lawyer, fluent in Mandarin has recently joined the Dubai office of KWM. He has significant experience in international arbitration and cross border dispute resolution in the region with a particular focus on construction and engineering disputes. Xu has acted for governments, state owned entities, Fortune 500 companies and major corporations across the Asia Pacific and Middle East in connection with a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters.

These appointments strengthen KWM’s presence in line with the firms commitment to the region. KWM’s Dubai office has also recently relocated to the Dubai International Financial Centre, the financial hub for the Middle East.
